Not only does this area have amazing beaches, there are fantastic opportunities to explore and experience the area. From mushroom meanders, to coastal hikes, horse-riding on the beach, yoga abd meditation walks, kite surfing, land sailing, deep sea fishing trips, photography walks and seafood cookery courses we are sure that we have something for everyone. We can make all the arrangements for you in advance whether it be a single session for one person or a bespoke package for the whole family.

The area s coastline, which extends to the north and east of Cabo de São Vicente (Cape St. Vincent) is dotted with more than 20 beaches. Vila do Bispos own beaches. Are reached via a tarmac road which winds through a beautiful valley surrounded by slopes, with scattered stone pines. One of the best places to experience our amazing sunsets, Castelejo has a lovely restaurant where you can eat beautiful fresh fish. Just 15 minutes up the road, and well worth a visit are the famous surfing beach.

We love where we live! On the Via Agarviana trail, we are the perfect base for the last stages of this walking adventure. With the ability to walk anywhere as long as there is no crop or fencing, you are free to discover rolling hills and deep valleys, which in the spring time are covered in wild flowers of every colour. Afterwards, visit the café above to watch the fish auction whilst drinking delicious hot coffee and treating yourself to a ridiculously sweet cake . Waking only for the Summer season.

Vila do Bispo has a good selection of restaurants, 2 banks, 2 cashpoints, a pharmacy, health centre, supermarket and shops including a bakers and a butchers. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms! Set in 12,000 square metres and a 5 minute walk from the village, there is plenty of space to chill out here at Quinta da Pedra. Children are more than welcome to help us feed the chickens and horses (with supervision). Our double bedroom has it s own private shower room. Whilst not en-suite you have exclusive use of the spacious shower room. There are sliding doors leading to a sunny terrace and the perfect place to eat your breakfast. From just 35 a nignt.
