It has been full of new kitchen fun and started with the task of cutting a hole in the worktop for the sink a prospect I was not looking forward to and to be honest found it scarier than using the chainsaw yesterday! Today was grape picking day. Following the lead of our neighbours we chose today to collect our harvest and in the neighbourly tradition we donated ours to Esther and Shey who are going to make wine (we didn't have a good enough crop this year to do it ourselves, neglect had something to do with that! In you go love.

Has been much cooler over the past few days so the activity level has shifted up a gear and today saw my first use of my new big boys toy the chainsaw. . Themselves obviously. I enjoyed my little expedition. Into chainsawing, it's noisy. And the best thing it turns a days job by hand into a ten minute job so what more could you ask for?
