Quirk Museum Trash: Big Blue Thing
http://quirktrash.blogspot.com/2011/04/big-blue-thing.html
Where Trash is Art and Art is Trash. Monday, April 4, 2011. Found this BIG BLUE styrofoam piece washed up along the Housatonic River. It's about 5 feet long and 2-3 feet across. Part of a small sail boat hull maybe. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Photographer, Painter, Sculptor, sometime Filmmaker and Museum Director. My task here is to update and archive artwork for The Quirk Museum and to help Keep America Beautiful. Seems like I'm the only one who does any work around here. A Billion Acts of Green.

Quirk Museum Trash: June 2009
http://quirktrash.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Where Trash is Art and Art is Trash. Monday, June 15, 2009. Seems like it's been raining for months. I went down to the river between the rains and found this "Fish and Palmolive Bottle" still life along the shore. A lot of the litter is hidden under the massive overgrowth of vegetation thanks to all the rain. So, for the Spring and Summer, it doesn't look as bad out there. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Quirk Museum Trash: Little Blue Planet
http://quirktrash.blogspot.com/2011/04/little-blue-planet.html
Where Trash is Art and Art is Trash. Tuesday, April 12, 2011. This is kinda what Earth looks like from space. Yea, I'm still on a blue kick. This handball really stands out against the usual leaves, sticks and branches found near the river. As noted in the past, there are a LOT of balls washed up along the shoreline. Everything from the tiniest one inch plastic ball right up to basketballs. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. A Billion Acts of Green. The Quirk Museum Blog.

Quirk Museum Trash: I Love You
http://quirktrash.blogspot.com/2011/03/i-love-you.html
Where Trash is Art and Art is Trash. Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Love is a many splendored thing. Sometimes it's just a balloon that you lost and it floated down the river with all the rest of the trash. Yet, love retains it's color for a while. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://quirktrash.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Where Trash is Art and Art is Trash. Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Face in the Snow. I made this skull-like mask from some wood that I found where else, but down by the river. Got my footprint in there for scale. It makes a handy dog shit marker in the back yard. Labels: collage that washed up along the Housatonic River. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
