The Vandevenders: Our Week Out West
http://thevandevenders.blogspot.com/2012/08/our-week-out-west.html
Saturday, August 4, 2012. Our Week Out West. For our summer vacay this year Justin and I decided to head North for some relief from the heat and to visit my very favorite roomie, Abi, and her sweet husband, John. They live in Colorado Springs in the worlds cutest house literally on the side of a mountain. The next morning we got up early to make the 3 hour drive to Cheyenne, WY to the Cheyenne Frontier Days. Rodeo This rodeo has been on my bucket list for years. This was John and Abi's 1st ever rodeo!

The Vandevenders: Biting the Bullet
http://thevandevenders.blogspot.com/2011/08/biting-bullet.html
Wednesday, August 3, 2011. For those of you that know me, you already know most of this but for the ones that don't, here's a little background on our lives. Justin and I were high school sweethearts and dated for 9. Now, don't get me wrong, I love that boy more than words can describe. However, growing up with a sister and always living at home, with the exception of my years in the dorm with Abi (who was much neater and cleaner than I), I didn't realize how dirty and messy boys were! And after a fantas...

The Vandevenders: So much to do...so little time....
http://thevandevenders.blogspot.com/2011/08/so-much-to-doso-little-time.html
Sunday, August 7, 2011. So much to do.so little time. It didn't really begin until March because, as you all know, Justin and I are obsessed with the Dixie National in its entirety so that pretty well took up our entire January and February. So, in March my sweet friend, Jessica, and I went to Natchez (aka our favorite place in the world) for the spring pilgrimage and the "girlfriends getaway" at Monmouth Plantation. Does it get better? So, after our relaxing weekend in Natchez, I worked Monday and Tuesd...

The Vandevenders: Continuation of Travels
http://thevandevenders.blogspot.com/2011/09/continuation-of-travels.html
Monday, September 19, 2011. As promised I'm going to update all you bloggers on our most recent expedition. Our second most exciting trip we planned for this year was to Ft. Worth, TX to the Reichert Celebration. We left Tuesday (the 6th) as soon as I got off work. We hit I-20 at 5:15. I was so excited that I didn't fall asleep ONCE! For those of you that know me, this is quite. I'm not sure which would've been worse: traffic or blindness. Then we were off to the show! We were so proud! Then it was shopp...

The Vandevenders: June 2012
http://thevandevenders.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 11, 2012. Last week I took Rhett to my mom's to play with his friends (aka Rip, Deuce, and Hunter) I felt like something was missing. Rewind to November 1990. I'd just turned 5 and had been showing my mom's horse and my pony at little local shows. I guess my parents decided it was time for me to have a "big" horse of my own. They purchased Kens Class, aka "Fella" from Don, Maggie, and Drew Martin for the whopping price of $5000. Now, some of you are probably saying "$5000! Brought him out of...
