Running is not my favorite thing | QuiverVoice
https://quivervoice.wordpress.com/2013/03/04/running-is-not-my-favorite-thing
Tales of a reluctant breast cancer warrior. Skip to primary content. Running is not my favorite thing. March 4, 2013. Running is not my favorite thing. To run , which got a big laugh, and which everyone at my 25. Reunion seemed to remember. It was self-deprecating, but it solidified my identity as a non-athlete. I finally summon my nerve to ask my nurse Kelly, How many days should I plan to be in bed? With impossibly paired respect and adolescent DUH-ness, she replies, Uh, NONE. March 8, 2013 at 9:44 pm.

Tales of a reluctant breast cancer warrior. Skip to primary content. Courage and the car. May 5, 2013. Sitting in the car that day, though, I realize that this transformation has totally not. How lucky they are. I feel inferior, and even a little ashamed. I do not feel at all like a Marine. For you. I’ve been sicker and I’ve been more afraid, but I do not think I have ever in my adult life felt more vulnerable than that day in the car in the Target parking lot. The Back Story | QuiverVoice
https://quivervoice.wordpress.com/the-back-story
Tales of a reluctant breast cancer warrior. Skip to primary content. So when it was time for the medical milestone of this passage – the first mammogram – I wasn’t a bit worried. I knew I would do great! After all, there had never been a woman with breast cancer in my family. I exercised, ate well, even had three kids before I was 30. This confidence, mind you, was based mostly on scientific journals such as People magazine, and. Where I consistently scored. Going as I had planned. It took a year to heal...

Tales of a reluctant breast cancer warrior. Skip to primary content. Picking up the pieces. August 7, 2014. My friend is in the early days of survivorship. As with so many difficult tasks we women have faced — things like labor, for instance, and plane trips with toddlers, and cancer — you think you will always remember how hard every part was. You are certain you will never forget the details, and the difficulty. But when a newly-minted cancer survivor, just starting out, tells you how she. Such an insi...

A Unique Blessing | Searching for EMWA

March 18, 2015. Middot; by jbaldwinglenn. When we found out over a year ago that our dog Zoey had a brain tumor, one of my friends referred to her illness and the time we were given to care for her as a unique blessing. I did not really get the connection at the time, but it stuck with me and I now feel that we truly embraced our unique blessing this past year. Would I prefer that Zoey had not gotten sick? However, that was the hand we were dealt. This entry was posted in Living Life Fully. Resources tha...

April 2, 2015. Middot; by jbaldwinglenn. Where bloggers write 26 posts during the month of April using the letters of the alphabet as prompts, I knew I had to take a crack at it this year. However, this year I want to do something a little different and make a concerted effort to develop my family history blog at A Home for the Family Tree. And put some of my research into blog posts. So, if you want to find me this month, that is where I will be. A is for A Reclamation Project. April 2, 2015 at 1:18 pm.

Sunday, March 8, 2009. Keeping Track of Chores. I sent a post to the MOMYS group where I mentioned my chore board. I've gotten lots of requests for info about it, so here is some more info, and a picture. Basically, it's a board that I painted and put cup hooks into. I painted a column for each child, and it has their initial at the top. The far left column, marked "H", is going to be for merits and demerits eventually. I haven't implemented that yet.
