The Sunny Side of Life: 82. Old La-Z-Boys
http://livingsunnysideup.blogspot.com/2014/03/82-old-la-z-boys.html
The Sunny Side of Life. Thursday, March 20, 2014. I haven't posted in awhile, but after a long shift pretending that I know what I'm doing as charge nurse, there's nothing quite like rocking the evening away (while paying bills and fighting with the cable company) from the comfort of your grandma's old La-Z-Boy (donated to a worthy, newly married grad student since grandma was ready for her 3rd upgrade since using this chair). Love. It. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Sunny Side of Life: 79. Polka Dot Sheets
http://livingsunnysideup.blogspot.com/2011/09/79-polka-dot-sheets.html
The Sunny Side of Life. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. 79 Polka Dot Sheets. Seriously. How can you see these and NOT be happy? I just bought blue and green polka dot sheets a couple of weeks ago and still, 2 weeks later, I wake up every day and smile when I realize that there are blue and green polka dots all around me. Everyone needs that something in the morning, I think. Labels: polka dot sheets. October 11, 2011 at 3:25 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

The Sunny Side of Life: 67. Candles
http://livingsunnysideup.blogspot.com/2011/01/67-candles.html
The Sunny Side of Life. Wednesday, January 5, 2011. A certain chico I know got me what is probably my favorite candle ever so far and in considering writing about it for Today's Happy Thing, I realized just how much I reallyyy like candles. I light candles when I'm stressed. When I want to pray. When I need to study. When I write a paper. When I'm reading. When I'm sitting and writing in the blog. When I want to feel happy. The Sunny Side of Life: 81. TED Talks
http://livingsunnysideup.blogspot.com/2012/08/81-ted-talks.html
The Sunny Side of Life. Thursday, August 23, 2012. Lately I've found myself enamored with TED Talks. They're Ideas Worth Spreading and I find myself browsing the app quite frequently for inspiring talks. Some of my favorites so far have discussed modern day slavery, how to fool a GPS, religions and babies, and how to buy happiness. They're very engaging speakers teaching me more and more about things I've rarely thought about. You should probably check it out. =). May 14, 2013 at 6:19 PM.

The Sunny Side of Life: 71. Snow Days
http://livingsunnysideup.blogspot.com/2011/02/71-snow-days.html
The Sunny Side of Life. Thursday, February 3, 2011. Then I grew up. And at 21, I still hope for snow days. BUT I go to U of M where snow days don't exist because some asian kid sued the university for cancelling class when he was paying so much for tuition. Lame, I know. But even if U of M doesn't cancel class, I can totally declare my own snow day. Which I did. Twice. Today involves research, medbuddies, House and Dexter and Friends, the gym, organizing next week's meetings, and an early bedtime.

The Sunny Side of Life: 77. Clouds
http://livingsunnysideup.blogspot.com/2011/05/77-clouds.html
The Sunny Side of Life. Thursday, May 12, 2011. Hopefully we use ourselves for good rather than death and destruction. But the beautiful thing about that is we are capable of SO much good. But back to the happy thing of the day. cloud watching is one of my favorite parts of summer, when the occurrence of puffy white clouds is increased and sunshine abounds. :). The Sunny Side of Life: 74. Rain
http://livingsunnysideup.blogspot.com/2011/04/74-rain.html
The Sunny Side of Life. Friday, April 8, 2011. Rain Oh-so-dreary but OH-so-relaxing! It's so nice to enjoy a rainy day off every once in awhile. Days where you have nothing to do except curl up with a good book, the sound of falling water calming the soul. Taking a break to dance in the rain, splash in the puddles, and not caring if your jeans get a bit of mud on them. a good rainy day is such a blessing sometimes! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
