Girona ist eine spanische Stadt im Nordosten Kataloniens. Mit über 86.600 Einwohnern ist sie Hauptstadt der gleichnamigen Provinz und unser erster Anlaufpunkt auf einer zehntägigen Tour durch Katalonien. Von Heidelberg ging es um 03:00 Uhr früh mit dem Shuttelbus zum Flughafen Frankfurt Hahan und dann um 6:45 Uhr mit einem Ryanair Flug nach Girona. Ankunft Flughafen von Girona. Es ist kurz nach 9:00 Uhr als die Raeder des Flugzeugs aus Frankfurt spanischen Boden streifen und wir zur Landung auf dem Flug.

Alaska Ultra Sport leads unique Alaskan Adventures throughout Alaska's National Parks. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. First trip of our Alaska summer season. Finally summer is here in Alaska. Bill and I are heading out tomorrow for our first trip of the season in Katmai National Park guiding a trip on the 90 mile Savonovski Loop. Per kayak as well as a hike into the Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes. Looking forward to be back in this park and enjoy seeing this magnificent landscape and the bears of Katmai.

Alaska Ultra Sport leads unique Alaskan Adventures throughout Alaska's National Parks. Wednesday, October 8, 2008. After a summer full of adventures I have some time to sort through my pictures. Most of the summer in Southcentral Alaska was rainy with cool temperatures. We got lucky and had a sunny August in the Southwest in Katmai National Park and in the Arctic. Fall was spectacular with all its colors. Winter is finally on its way, we have some of the first snowflakes of the season here in Chickaloon.
