Young and old, first-time to experienced, students and non-students. The club organises numerous local trips each semester and periodical interstate trips – the major one being the Blue Mountains trip. Membership for current QUT students costs $60 for six months and $100 for a year. Annual Blue Mountains Trip.

From Gardens Point campus is to walk across the Goodwill Bridge to South Bank, and follow the park along the river to the cliffs, about a 15 minute walk, which is lit up at night. From Kelvin Grove campus, your best option is to catch the 66 Gabba bus from the Kelvin Grove Busway and get off at Mater Hill Busway, about a ten minute walk from the cliffs.
