QVRA : How to Volunteer. We are highly dependent on the time and input provided by our volunteers. Even if you only have 2 hours per month to offer, we can use your help. The work of our organization is broken down into a series of small tasks. We will match your available time and skills to tasks that need to be performed. QVRA : Our History. The Challenge ». The Quaker Valley Recreation Association (QVRA) was first organized in the 1970s by community volunteers to provide youth baseball and softball programs for boys and girls living or going to school in the Quaker Valley School District. Bouchard Park ». QVRA could not accomplish any of our vision without the generosity of our donors. We are an unofficial community recreation department for 11 boroughs, however unlike other municipalities, there is no public funding to date to support this project. Most of our operating expenses are covered by registration fees and sponsorship from corporations. All work to improve our facilities must be funded by donations. Please support QVRA by donating now.
