I’ve been wanting to make granola for years (seriously…sad…) and I finally did it. Hooray! I found a great basic formula yesterday on the blog Chocolate and Zucchini. 3 cups rolled oats. 1 cup chopped almonds (some roasted with salt, some raw, and a few chopped walnuts to boot). 1/2 cup sunflower seeds. 3 T agave nectar. 2 T vegetable oil. 1 T all spice (genius). 1 t kosher salt.

Part of me is relieved that she no longer that fragile newborn anymore, but is getting more tough. Little Adelaide (See Jan. 5 post to read story) is smiling now, and I love the happy baby pose with her legs curled up close to her tummy. Gets me everytime. She is sleeping well through the night, waking up once between 1-4 am and thr wakes up again about 7 am.
