It’s been four and a half weeks since my total knee replacement. And just a few more days until my next one. The pain I used to have in my left knee was so unbearable that the knee replacement surgery felt like a vacation! I told everyone that I would take knee replacement surgery over the arthritis pain any day.

Even on really miserable days like last week when I couldn't eat because my jaw was so inflamed. I couldn't even swallow water. But I still pushed it out of my head that I have RA.
