http://runningbubby.blogspot.com/2011/02/reconnect.html
The ramblings and musings of a running Grandma. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. I went for a 16 km run this morning and it was the. The weather was beautiful - I was rested - and for once, I was not in a hurry. When I left the house, I decided that I wanted to reconnect to why I loved running - and that meant forgetting about pace and time and all things training. I could have run forever. Jenny (still smiling.). February 23, 2011 at 10:23 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ramat Bet Shemesh, Israel.

The ramblings and musings of a running Grandma. Monday, March 15, 2010. I'm sure it is. Saturday, March 13, 2010. Hubby is learning to run - and pretty much fighting and hating it the whole way. Tonight I did 6.5 km on my own and then joined up with him to do another 4.5 km. Not fun. I mean it, not fun. Friday, March 12, 2010. Today was the final 'long' run before the HM next week - and wouldn't you know it I was totally revved and ready to go, and yet had to hold back. Wouldn't you know it -. Anyway, I ...

The ramblings and musings of a running Grandma. Monday, June 14, 2010. Hang in there Baby! So we're not back to square one, but pretty close. Last week's permission to start to ease into running again was. Successful. After giving it two separate trys, the walk/jog was just too painful and no matter how much I chanted. No pain, no gain,". I just couldn't do it. The entire week saw my ankle and tendons aching and me wishing that I had waited longer. Pound a week since the injury. The glass is half empty".

Running Bubby: January 2011
http://runningbubby.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
The ramblings and musings of a running Grandma. Friday, January 28, 2011. Just finished week 2 training for two upcoming Half Marathons: Jerusalem on the 24th of March and Tel Aviv on the 8th of April. I finally had a good running week putting in a total of 52 km this week, ending with today's 17 km long run. I have a problem though - I'm running too fast. This is really frustrating considering all those very long runs of 24,26, 29 and 32 I put in and pretty much felt the same afterwards. 11km - 7 x 800's.

But he was prepared and was willing to take anything I would do or say, in an effort to help me quit. Who was really the brave one? I was desponde...

Running Bubby: August 2010
http://runningbubby.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
The ramblings and musings of a running Grandma. Monday, August 16, 2010. This morning, I had only my second out of doors run, meaning NOT on the treadmill. While it was so emotionally freeing to be in the fresh air (read humidity) it was much harder than running on 1% incline on the treadmill. My pace is very slow right now (7:30) (yikes! Tomorrow's a cross training day, and it is swimming! Thursday, August 12, 2010. I'm going to be profiled! This is her first book. My own marathon training will start in...

Running Bubby: Motivation vs Self Discipline
http://runningbubby.blogspot.com/2011/02/motivation-vs-self-discipline.html
The ramblings and musings of a running Grandma. Friday, February 11, 2011. Motivation vs Self Discipline. Today I had a long run scheduled of 21 km. Added to the tremendous stress at work these past few weeks, I was stressing more as I couldn't stand the thought of running long alone, again. So I found someone to run with. Isn't it an elemental part of anyone, althete or otherwise, that consistantly, and purposefully sticks to any type of program? So I looked up the definitions for both -. In thinking ab...
