Raburn Farm Blog: On the Up Again
http://raburnfarm.blogspot.com/2013/03/on-up-again.html
Monday, 18 March 2013. On the Up Again. The weather continues to disappoint on a daily basis. Southerly places are calling. A thing called 'hope' is keeping us here! So we're turning to retail therapy. We bought some more Romney ewe labs today. And we are expecting a delivery of Romney ewes carrying triplets over the next few days. Internet shopping is taking over! We now go into lambing with the grand sum of over 200 sheep. Wow. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Taking a Chill Pill. On the Up Again.

Raburn Farm Blog: So Many Ways To Die
http://raburnfarm.blogspot.com/2013/04/so-many-ways-to-die.html
Sunday, 28 April 2013. So Many Ways To Die. We have been plodding on with lambing and calving. A few here, a few there. However, we are now definitely over half way. We have another fracture, but they are both hopping along quite well. Alive at least! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). So Many Ways To Die. In The Thick Of It.

Raburn Farm Blog: May 2013
http://raburnfarm.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 7 May 2013. Babies, Babies Everywhere. We have tagged our second batch of lambs. 177 now with tags in their ears. And many more waiting. However, we have nearly finished lambing. Yipee. A dozen left to go. Meanwhile the cows have crossed legs! We still have about ten to calve. And no new ones for five days. I'm sure I should be careful what I wish for, but I do wish it was all over and done with. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Babies, Babies Everywhere.

Raburn Farm Blog: Sweet Treats?
http://raburnfarm.blogspot.com/2013/04/sweet-treats.html
Tuesday, 2 April 2013. The weather has been slightly better today. We have made use of it in the garden. The veg. patch has been cleared of the old and prepared for the new. And the cows have done well out of it too. I took them the old brassica plants - sprouts and broccoli - they didn't last long - a welcome break from silage. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
