Monday, March 31, 2008. 22nd Annual Elizabeth 8k: Big Success. Tim Long with the Final race instructions for the Elizabeth 8k (check out the bed head! 22nd Annual Elizabeth 8k: Big Success. The 22nd edition of the Elizabeth 8k. Took place this past Saturday, March 29th, and by all accounts was a tremendous success. Even the prediction of rain held off until after the awards ceremony. This year over 600 people registered for the 8k and 3k (in 2005 there were 162 and 2006 had 225). Friday, March 28, 2008.
