Monday, November 09, 2009. We have a week to go before the shipping deadline, and I am just amazed at how much STUFF we've got! So far each child has a sweat shirt and matching pants (the warmest thing I could think of), and the older ones all have gloves and hats. We continue to receive donations, which should cover shoes. Saturday, August 29, 2009. Cougars v. Hawks. High school football in a small south Texas town. Gotta' love it! Friday night was Canyon High's first game of the season. Hannah has been practicing with Color Guard for three weeks and it was time to see how all her hard work in the Texas sun would pay off. Friday, October 22, 2010. Stuff I Made Today. I have a friend, Gina, who lives down the road from me in my sister neighborhood. She loves to craft! She has a whole ROOM devoted to crafting (no kids). I went over this afternoon to hang out and craft with her for the first time. Then I made a felt collar necklace similar to ones I've been doing on my own. This turned out lovely. Gina really liked it, and I gave it to Hannah. Note the detail of the lace I used for the tie. I really liked it! B and H Photo.

Monday, January 25, 2010. Fifteen Year Old and Black Birds. So I need to practice sunset photos, and Hannah's my go-to model. The above image was totally overexposed, but hey it looks cool.
