Thursday, 29 March 2012. After crit on Monday I decided to push my concept a bit further. I started collaging and made butterflies out of waste like sweet wrappers, food packaging, bin bags, tin foil, newspaper etc. I decided to do my set of stamps on Illegal Dumping and Littering. It is a big problem in Ireland at the moment and I want to draw attention to it. I took some photos first and did some research into it. I found that cigarettes make up 56% of litter in Ireland while chewing gum makes up 25%.

Wednesday, 9 May 2012. I thought that Kieran was quiet, and found him hard to read, so I played around with a few ideas based on these two subjects. I also tried out some ideas using his nickname SEVEN. I did some research into security text boxes used by the internet to stop machines creating accounts, as must people find them extremely hard to read. So I made up the name using this lettering. I had used red because it is the colour of all the logos of the newspapers Piers Morgan worked for, and I wanted to introduce red into it as it was mostly black and white. Wednesday, 23 May 2012. Celebrity Come Dine With Me. For our final project we each got a celebrity and had to create a table setting for them. I got Piers Morgan. Concentrating on the journalism side of his life I started collaging newspapers and magazines onto plastic plates. I also did this with cutlery. I found an old keyboard at home so took it apart and decided to make something with the keys as they show Piers Morgans career as a writer. I painted the Got Talent logo on the inside of the bowl.

Rachael's Childminding
Finding someone you are comfortable in leaving your child with can be a very daunting experience so I am adding a little bit about myself to help you get to know how I reached the point of becoming a Childminder. I made enquiries about becoming a childminder attending relevant training courses and was Ofsted approved in 2008, initially working 3 days a week, and then full time from July 2010. I live in the Withymoor area of Brierley Hill with my partner, my 2 boys and our Cocker Spaniel.
