Doing the write thing. Wednesday, February 11, 2015. I've just finished reading the autobiography of Benjamin Franklin. Generally speaking, I'm not a huge fan of biographical books, but I have to make an exception in this case. This is a fascinating account of a man who grew up in a relatively poor family, received very little formal education, and yet, in spite of this, bettered himself to a point where he made HUGE contributions to society, government and science. Friday, March 11, 2011. Dancing with the Phantom. It's been absolutely ages since we've posted on here, and I finally got an idea for a post, so I pounced! If you'll remember, Christine was a part of the dance corps when it all began. So, I looked up Phantom of the Opera dancing, thinking that of course at least one of the numerous movies or plays made would have a good dance corps. Maybe it's because I'm personally a dancer, a ballerina actually, but the pictures I was able to pull up were terrible!

I've always wanted to try bokeh and while I still don't know how to say the word, I think I have succeeded. I tried it out without comparing to an image, that came after the editing. Obviously it's just bokeh, it's not going to look the same as any other photograph but the point is. Experiment #5 was a success. On a scale of 1 to bokeh this - this is bokeh. Top image is stolen from the internet, like all my other experiments, simply for practice. Bottom image is mine. my own. My Precioussss).
