Other than the fact that he knew I was getting a sitter and taking him away for an overnight birthday celebration, it was all a surprise. Where we were going, where we having dinner, where we were staying, and the fact that we were going to see. Since it was Travis' 40th, I wasn't going to just get any 'ol tickets. Nope! The tickets sold in 1/2 hour!

The car washes where you have to get your tire on their tiny, little track. Oh, the embarrassment I have suffered! It's horrible when you just can't get your tire on the track and a stranger behind you jumps out and asks if he can do it for you. (It's amazing how many strangers will offer to parallel park your car, too! I had no idea what fear was yet! I tried yet again.

Wanderers, Dreamers, and Lovers. Thursday, July 9, 2009. So here is a quick update of the summer thus far. I recently hiked Rendezvous Peak, we celebrated 4th of July, and Jay's Aunt Margy and Uncle Will came to visit. Below are some pictures of my most recent activities. Me at the top of Rendezvous Peak - 7.5 miles and 4,100 vertical feet. This hike took me 2 hours and 25 minutes. It was incredible and so beautiful! View from the top! Jay and I getting ready to take the Tram up with Margy and Will.
