http://jasonandmcleod.blogspot.com/2010/10/lane-and-bo.html
Tuesday, October 12, 2010. What a wonderful weekend! Our dear friends, Lane and Bo Baxter came to visit us for the Mississippi State vs. Houston game. We picked them up from the airport on Friday and went to eat at our favorite Mexican place, Lupe Tortilla! After dinner, Lane was so excited to give me the sweet gifts she got for our little baby girl who's on the way! I'm totally obsessed with the little bunny rattle! Our baby girl is going to love her Aunt Lane! Here's Lane rubbing the baby bump!

Sunday, September 12, 2010. By now I'm sure (if you're reading this) you probably already know that Jason and I are expecting! But after requests for updates and pictures, I'm going to post about it just a little bit. The baby is due on February 26, 2011, and we are currently around 16 weeks (or 4 months) along, hoping to find out the sex of the baby in early October! Please keep us and the baby in your prayers. And here's what the belly looks like so far. Posted by Jason and McLeod. I am so excited!

Monday, August 2, 2010. Anniversary Trip: Fredericksburg, Texas. This past week, Jason and I had our three year anniversary! I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by, especially this wonderful year, full of surprises! We chose to eat at a wonderful place called August E's. And were so glad we did! The menu, service, and atmosphere were absolutely phenomenal! After a wonderful night's rest, we awoke to breakfast delivered right to our room. Fredericksburg is filled with plenty of things to do, and i...

The Satterfields: A Fall Full of Visitors
http://jasonandmcleod.blogspot.com/2010/10/fall-full-of-visitors.html
Monday, October 4, 2010. A Fall Full of Visitors. A couple weeks ago, Jason's mom, Linda, came to visit us for Jason's birthday. Although a good portion of our time was spent going to appointments for both the baby and Jason's fractured foot, we had lots of fun together! She brought us some of the clothes Jason wore when he was a baby which included a little outfit that she smocked herself and Jason's first little pair of Osh Kosh overalls; they were so adorable! Posted by Jason and McLeod. Some people w...

Saturday, April 10, 2010. Marburger Farm Antiques Show. Sometime last year I was introduced to the Marburger Farm Antique Show. In Round Top, TX, through Jason's aunt Sandra. She read about it in a magazine and thought it would be fun to go someday. This past month Marburger Farm was mentioned in Martha Stewart Living as one of the premier antique shows in the country. So Jason and I decided to go and see what all the fuss was about. Sorry jj, couldn't resist. Better by a country smile! Jason was really ...

Thursday, November 19, 2009. More Persimmons, please! Last Saturday, Jason and I drove all the way to Tomball, TX to pick Asian Fuyu persimmons from Matt Family Orchard. Fall is the season in which they ripen, and I have been looking forward to our trip for weeks! My dear friend Sarah Kindelan Crawford (pictured below) first introduced me to persimmon pickin' several years ago at an orchard near Starkville, MS. We had some competition with the wasps and caterpillars. Posted by Jason and McLeod. And ate a...

Thursday, August 27, 2009. On Saturday, August 22, I went to work with Jason as usual, but this time I got to ride in a helicopter and a combine! It was a big change from sitting in the apartment all week :) Here is the type of helicopter I rode in. It is especially fun, because there are no doors; you can feel the breeze and lean out into the air! This is the pilot, Chris! While we are flying, I can't stop thinking about how lovely the variety of textures and lines of the fields appear from so high.

Monday, September 21, 2009. These precious little creatures are the reason for this set of pictures. I went out for a run, and when I saw them I just had to go back to my apartment and get my camera so I could show Jason! While watching them waddle around and look for food with their mommy, an older Asian couple (pretty adorable themselves) walked by, and I waved them over. The man said, "Oh yes, duckling!
