Picture to come – left my ultrasound pics at my inlaws when picking Ava up. Everything at the ultrasound was perfect! Baby A was measuring 8 oz and was very cooperative except he didn’t want to show his face. Baby B was not cooperative and bounced all around! Ava at 18 weeks! 2 – TWINS. No more diceglis at all.

I can’t believe how beautiful, smart and special she is. So big: She is 25.5 lbs and 33 inches in length. She fits in 2T and 24 months but the 2t fits better because she’s so flippin’ tall. I never knew how excited I would be to watch my baby learn something new. I never knew just how tiny newborn diapers are (and preemie diapers in our case), and how fast they would outgrow them. I never knew I could miss someone in the very next room so much, when I lay her down to sleep. I never knew just how important naps are.

I’d mentioned last week that my blood pressure was high. I kept an eye on it Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. I even had the school nurse check me out a few times (I need to explain that to my principal tomorrow). Good thing I did, because I still got a higher reading at the doctor’s office Tuesday afternoon. How far along: 37 weeks. Have a great day!

One Day At A Time. Bedtime Routine Going South. The last 2 nights have been interesting. Our great little bedtime routine has not worked. I am completely baffled right now. So our normal routine was a bath around 7:15-7:30 then bottle at 7:30 or 7:45. After the bottle I’d rock her pretty much asleep and put her in her crib. She would almost always go to sleep for 9-10 hours. If she did wake up in the middle of that she would almost always put herself back to sleep. I hope things go back to normal soon!
