Week #7 (part 2). January 29, 2016. I enjoyed the more in-depth approach to tutoring itself the reading took this week. Up to this point it’s all been very theoretical and big-picture scenarios, and having never been to a tutoring session in the writing center before, it was kind of difficult to grasp onto. One huge concern of mine from the beginning of this course was the idea of “what if I don’t. Know how to help someone? 8220;More student knowledge, less tutor knowledge=more non directive methods.
