Meyers. The moxy, the magic and the madness. May Brings…a baby! Well – it has been over a year since we last blogged here, but we finally have something super exciting to blog about…a baby! So here’s a quick pregnancy recap to get us all up-to-speed, and for documentation’s sake…. So I ended up just going over my lunch break the next day to Walgreens where the checkout gal said to me 1) “Do you want a bag for that? 8221; and 2) “Well, good luck with whichever result you’re hoping for! 8221; Awkward….

Wednesday, October 14, 2009. The Fall Has Flown By! Do you know how many times I have meant to update this thing! It has just been so busy! That's why this post is entitled "The Fall Has Flown By! It literally has, and now we find ourselves in mid-October with snow already falling in some areas. Crazy! I pray as you are reading this that "the joy of the Lord truly is your strength" (Nehemiah 8:10) That verse seems to be the theme of this blog and life currently! Below is a picture of part of our crew.

Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Love is in the Air. It's been a little while since I've updated you on the ministry and happenings at Iowa State. Classes resumed mid-January, and I cannot believe it is almost March already! Everyone dressed up, and we had a dance afterwards. Please continue to be in prayer for. 1 Laborer's Conference this weekend in Maryville, MO: What does it look like to labor and live for Christ for a lifetime? 4 Iowa State Campus, Staff and Students: To Know Christ and Make Him Known.

Thursday, February 18, 2010. Updated pics of Dax. Dax has officially learned to pull himself up on EVERYTHING! There is not a dull moment in our house anymore.well, maybe when he is sleeping, but I like to think of that more as restful instead of dull:). Dax is very strong! We figured out that he could hang on the stove (when its not on) all by himself. He may be the strongest baby alive. Dax and mommy on a walk.of course, daddy was there too. Who else would be taking the picture? Faith by Ruth Myers.

Friday, November 13, 2009. Well, here we are already halfway through another month. Here are some brief highlights about what has happened since my last post in October:. We had a Barn Dance! This was a great outreach and opportunity to connect with students. Around 100 people attended this event. Thank you for your prayers! They desire to know how to have a quiet time and walk with God daily. It is a privilege to walk through their freshman year of college with them! 3) Thanksgiving Break-for the staff ...

Monday, February 21, 2011. What a military spouse knows. A friend posted this on Facebook so I thought I'd share it here. I honestly laughed and teared up a little, because some of the statements are so true! I've added a few comments of my own in orange :). As many of you know, my husband came home from our third deployment not too long ago. During the deployment, a reporter asked me to share “What I Knew” about deployments and military life. This was my answer:. She was right. I do know how to do t...

I wanted to remember and record every moment for Randy. Thanks to two amazing friends, we did just that! Stay tuned, I promise not to take 9.5 months this time! Saturday, May 21st, 2011. At the potluck, I felt bad becau...

Sunday, May 22, 2011. Listen closely at the very end of the video! Noah sitting in the ER. Poor boy was so sad :(. We've been paci free since Daddy left, but unfortunately this is the only thermometer that we own. Needless to say, he didn't mind take his temp every few hours :). Sister at 35 weeks! I've considered getting Noah his own little chair, but apparently I was taking too long in finding the right one. Noah and his new pillow! Sister's new taggie blanket! I have my 36 week appointment tomorrow!
