When you think of ultrasound, you’re probably thinking of. Ultrasound uses sound waves to penetrate ligaments, tendons, muscles, fascia, and scar tissue. Of Life and Lens: February 2013
http://oflifeandlens.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
As I See It. Saturday, February 2, 2013. This marks the beginning of the home stretch. I’m excited to be in my 3rd trimester! He’s nearly 15 inches and about 2 1/2 pounds. And that’s why I feel so ‘baby-full! Just a stretched out belly-button. No stretch marks yet. The thing that has slowed me up this week is hip pain… I hope that is caused by my narrow little hips spreading a little! The only other pain in the butt is actually pain in the toe. I know, right? I have had more energy too. Imagine that!

Of Life and Lens: 39 Weeks
http://oflifeandlens.blogspot.com/2013/04/39-weeks.html
As I See It. Friday, April 26, 2013. What an amazing journey. It has not gotten easier to wait. Who was it that said of child rearing, “The days are long but the years are short”? My patience with everything/everyone is running thin, which I blame largely on itsy-bitsy sleeping habits, hormone overload, and discomfort with every move. Am I not an excellent complainer? It is almost eerie. I think I like it in small doses, this quiet house thing! Pray for me (and for those around me! Posted by Kari Watson.

Of Life and Lens: 36 Weeks!
http://oflifeandlens.blogspot.com/2013/03/36-weeks.html
As I See It. Sunday, March 24, 2013. Only four weeks left until the official due date! I have conflicted feelings at this point, part of me desperately wanting to be done and another part of me equally wishing that this special time didn’t have to end. Technically, our Peanut (so dubbed by the princess) will be ‘full term’ at 37 weeks and I can deliver anytime after that. Yea! I am seriously all stretched out! It is the oddest thing to watch my alien-invaded stomach roll! I will leave it at this: it is 3...

Of Life and Lens: December 2012
http://oflifeandlens.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
As I See It. Wednesday, December 26, 2012. Just under a pound, about 10 inches long. 10 pounds total. I’d like to think that’s a good place to be, but I have to be realistic… the big gain is still to come. Eek! Not too shabby. I’m loving my body pillow now that I’ve learned to sleep with it without getting smothered. Achy hips and odd dreams are my sleep companions these days… in addition to my hubs, I should clarify. Fresh fruit, salad, soup, bread, and CITRUS, always CITRUS! They hit the spot. Little f...
