Ian you look AMAZING. it makes me want to wake up at 430 in the morning. oh wait, i already do. thank you sheppy. one of these days maybe ill start running again. i have no excuse. its not really winter here this year. Andersonville: Turkey Trot

Tuesday, December 20, 2011. We signed up to run in a Turkey Trot this year. Ian was nice to run the 1 mile race with the kids so I could run the 5 mile race. Kaiya and Ezra had ran a mile a few times to make sure they could run the whole time. They were so excited to be in a race. I think the high that day was 32 degrees! Here we are before the race. We had different starting places so we had to separate after this. He was such a trooper! It was such a fun race we are doing it every year! I like taking K...

The life and times of the Huntington Beach diva. Monday, December 5, 2011. So, my sweet very girlie daughter does not wear pants! Last year I made all the kids pajama pants an she didn't wear hers. She didn't look like a girl. So, thanks to Mikes brilliant brain, I made her pantaloons to go under all her nightgowns, and I made them out of white flannel! What to you think? Close-up detail of the eyelet (I LOVE eyelet). You are so creative! I need some of that creativity.want to share?

The life and times of the Huntington Beach diva. Thursday, December 1, 2011. Okay, so I did try to post Halloween a couple weeks ago but could not get it to work in the computer. Of course I wait until after Thanksgiving to try again though! I told the kids I would make them either a Halloween pillowcase they could enjoy all month long or a new costume they wear one day. I was convincing enough to save time, money and anxiety (all the Halloween stores and tough decisions). They chose.wisely!

The life and times of the Huntington Beach diva. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Although the price of living in So Cal is high, there are some definite perks! Days off can be spent like this! So yeah, we don't really get to go on big fancy vacations but how often can Aurora meet Aurora? We were actually really lucky to find her out in the park and not in the Fantasy Faire where the line is 90 minutes long! All the workers comment and she feels special. Collin enjoyed preferential treatment too!

The life and times of the Huntington Beach diva. Sunday, August 1, 2010. Just want to say that we love our Daddy. Mike has had to work every day (including weekends) for the last 20 days. The hours are late and yesterday after leaving at 7am he was only home from 2:30 to 6:30 am to get a couple hours of sleep. We are not used to having him gone 70 hours a week and definitely miss him!
