The *wandering but not lost* Lambournes. A journal of our adventures. Monday, April 27, 2015. The Peak District (England Tour, Chapter II). If we had such a sunny and warm day for Chatsworth, the next morning was just as grey and chilly. Regardless, exploring we go! Peveril Castle's views of the Peak District were worth the hike. Sunday, April 26, 2015. Aunt Camilla's Concerts and Sherwood Forest (England Tour I). Aunt Camilla came to London! She gave us an excuse to go out and explore some places we alr...

the *wandering but not lost* Lambournes: December 2014
http://collinandrachel.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
The *wandering but not lost* Lambournes. A journal of our adventures. Wednesday, December 24, 2014. I've been so busy catching up on travel that I've neglected Christmas a bit. That is no indication of how much we wait for and soak in this season. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and joy in Jesus and all the blessings His gospel gives us. I'll have more little snippets of our festivities to share later, but for this Christmas Eve I wanted to share our yearly update. Made this video of us. Don't know who...

The *wandering but not lost* Lambournes. A journal of our adventures. Friday, May 1, 2015. Yorkshire Moors and Whitby Abbey (England Tour III). Side note: I'm becoming so lazy and not editing these photos at all. What comes out of the camera with places and ambiance like this is pretty great, just as is (in my current opinion).). Do you see what I mean? Those ruins are incredible, right? And more stairs for Eliza makes us all happy. Hide and seek among the columns and a family picture courtesy of my sist...

The *wandering but not lost* Lambournes. A journal of our adventures. Sunday, May 10, 2015. Cambridge and Canterbury Cathedral. A couple weekends ago some friends were out of town and let us borrow their car. Whoot whoot! I asked how he knew that and he replied, "He just matches a picture of that guy I have in my head. Was he even a good king? What a boy, that Davy-dear. We went to the university's art museum that was a most perfect-sized had a truly remarkable collection. The treasures in there! I may h...

The *wandering but not lost* Lambournes. A journal of our adventures. Monday, May 11, 2015. I was not anticipating how cool the green house was (or one of them, at least- we didn't have time to explore the other). After seeing a banana tree and a rubber tree we walked up a spiral staircase to a walkway around the perimeter. Since visiting, Davy has- all on his own! The colors, the colors, the colors. Unbelievable. Saturday site and sight seeing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Mommy and Me Museum.

the *wandering but not lost* Lambournes: A Light, A Light!
http://collinandrachel.blogspot.com/2015/05/a-light-light.html
The *wandering but not lost* Lambournes. A journal of our adventures. Wednesday, May 6, 2015. A Light, A Light! At the end of this tunnel. In one more week from this very hour my final keystone piece will be placed and I can step back and enjoy the arch of a MA degree. And hopefully walk under it a little taller. I have some revision work to do, but honestly, I feel like it's all there and I'm just jumping through one last hoop. (And that should be the last of my late night metaphors. Or similes? Hill To...

The *wandering but not lost* Lambournes. A journal of our adventures. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Tut Tut, It Looks Like Rain! It's a drizzly day out there for us today, so I felt like now was a good time to remember the rainy days we hoped for with these pictures. We needed some good puddles for our umbrella and boots to work right. Maybe we could have waited for a better day, a better puddle and place. I'm glad we enjoyed our first few rainy days here, though! Tuesday, January 27, 2015. Collin and/or ...

The *wandering but not lost* Lambournes. A journal of our adventures. Monday, May 4, 2015. Hill Top House and Home (England Tour VI). Her gardens outside have been kept very nicely. The kids were shown were Jemima duck likes to lay her egg in the rhubarb and we loved our look at more sheep and lambs. Lambing season in the English country side is my favorite (so far). Or is it and I just don't know? Wow, you guys have been so busy! Im glad the kids are getting old enough that they are {mostly} enjoyable t...
