To play and pray in the land of milk and honey

To play and pray in the land of milk and honey. View my complete profile. Sunday, 21 September 2008. Into Jordan, a different world again. We stayed for one night in the port of Aqaba and drank Turkish coffee outside in the evening whilst watching Arabic soaps projected onto a big white wall. The Turkish coffee: "Black as hell, strong as death and sweet as love" was just that and really not to my liking. It was the only thing all the men around us were drinking. To play and pray in the land of milk and honey. View my complete profile. Friday, 5 September 2008. The prescience of America is worthy of note. We spent a balmy evening at the American Colony, the hang out of Diplomats, Journalists and NGO workers and regular haunt of Mr Blair. It was until very recently owned by a British woman. It was lovely, but pretty Western (including the prices which we failed to realise were in dollars until after we'd eaten! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

To play and pray in the land of milk and honey: Wailing

http://racheloneill.blogspot.com/2008/09/wailing.html

To play and pray in the land of milk and honey. View my complete profile. Friday, 5 September 2008. We arrived at 5.05am at Ben Gurion airport and were picked up by Joseph who took us to French Hill on the East (Arab) side of Jerusalem to Ajith's place. Despite being exhausted we were eager to go and explore. As christians we paid obligatory homage by walking along the via dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and felt nauseous at the clamour of cameras. No one even bothered looking with their...

To play and pray in the land of milk and honey: August 2008

http://racheloneill.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html

To play and pray in the land of milk and honey. View my complete profile. Sunday, 31 August 2008. So, I am heading off to Israel. The land promised to Moses by God when he appeared as a burning bush as described in Exodus 3. I remember as a child this image confusing me. How did a bush burn and not burn out? And, wasn't God supposed to be awesome and therefore look impressive. I didn't think an isolated burning bush was an attractive image at all. No more audit for me! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Rachel On and On. Life goes on and on. Race Recap: Fred Lebow XC Championships 5K (2014). November 16, 2014. Middot; by rachelonandon. Today I ran the Fred Lebow XC 5k in Van Cortlandt Park. It was my second time racing the course, and since I performed so well last time, my only goal for the day was to improve. I didn’t have a particular pace in mind, or anything else. December 9, 2013. Well, thanks to my husband I finally have a blog. A place where I can publish my thoughts on several topics that are meaningful to me and that I hope will serve useful for others. I try to remember what I thought about the age 30 when I was 20 and I am sure it.

Rachel O'Neil Photography

And welcome to my crazy life. Enjoy! Is your husband's motorcycle accident the reason why you are no longer accepting new clients? Yes After his accident, we all took some time to reflect and felt that this would be the best move for our family. You photographed both of my sons' senior portraits and now my daughter is a senior. Is she considered a new client? When do you think you will start accepting new clients again? The most honest answer that I can give is: I don't know. Yes, of course. Posted by Ra...
