Sunday, May 3, 2015 @ 3:15 PM. Timber slats for my feature wall arrived ytd! Together with the plywood backing. Started to paint the plywood backing in black! Looks so cosy and pretty now. Absolutely tired now after a day at IKEA. Bought all 3 wardrobes, TV consoles, wash basins, sofa and a lot more. Long list of IKEA products. So happy and relieved we've settled the furnitures! The IKEA goods will arrive on the 16th. I need to finish my feature wall before the furnitures arrive!

BTO Fernvale Rivergrove - Interior Perspectives. Saturday, May 2, 2015 @ 2:05 PM. Shall start using this space to record the renovation process of our flat at Sengkang. We've installed the air conditioners last Tuesday, together with the Citygas pipe and adjustments of lighting points. We're now headed back to our flat to add more power points and switches. Today will also be the arrival of our feature wall materials! Gonna start DIY-ing the living/dining feature wall. So excited! View from the entrance!

Saturday, May 30, 2015 @ 9:13 PM. Update 30 / 05 / 15. Our shoe cabinet fixed this afternoon! The depth was really narrow. About 250mm. So I had to improvise a little. Half of the shoe cabinet consists of horizontal shelvings. Asked the carpenter to add another strip of wood so that we can put in shoe boxes/basket for socks without it falling over. It can also be used to store shoes, but it will not be as convenient to grab it and go. Can't wait to start using it! DIY Feature Wall Update.

Wednesday, May 27, 2015 @ 7:29 PM. Update 30 / 05 / 15. How the piping looks like after taking out the wash basin provided. Initially did not want to add the legs for the IKEA cabinet as it would be a hassle to clean. But realise I couldn't do without the legs because of the water pipe location. Bidet spray (from Hoe Kee) and toilet roll holder (from IKEA) installed! Also mounted the mirror cabinet, but realised it was too low. There wasn't enough allowance for anyone to wash their face.

DIY Feature Wall Update. Thursday, May 21, 2015 @ 4:09 PM. Update: 9 / 05 / 15. Finally hacked the wall. Sorry for the bad lighting. It was late and we only installed a temp light to work.
