Life with Zak and Rachel. We'll keep you posted. Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Rachel's Got a New Job and Our Ceiling is Leaking! There are a few leaks, and sometimes near the bottom of the surrounding walls will leak. It could be worse, like when we had the apartment kind of flood. About a year and a half ago. It is mostly just inconvenient and frustrating. The manager still has to get it approved, but she said we most likely won't have to pay rent this month, as a way to help us out. So, a mixture of good...

Life with Zak and Rachel. We'll keep you posted. Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Quick Trip to Boise. Zack and I spent a quick weekend in Boise for a concert. Of Neutral Milk Hotel, an indie folk band from the late 1990s. When Zack heard about the concert a few months ago, he emailed me immediately and said we must. So, being the. In Egyptian-...

Life with Zak and Rachel. We'll keep you posted. Monday, February 11, 2013. My best friend Kandace told me about this idea a few weeks ago and we finally had a chance to execute it last weekend. I'm not sure where she found this idea, but it was intriguing and it worked, and seemed like a fantastic idea for us working ladies with lunchtime dilemmas. Basically, one can 'vacuum pack' a salad in a jar and do a week's worth of lunches in one sitting. 1 dressing / wet on the bottom. 3 lettuce on top. The pict...

http://zakandrachel.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Life with Zak and Rachel. We'll keep you posted. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. This month, after a few years of looking for a piano, we finally found the perfect one! And it's all thanks to Zak's amazing Craigslist skills! I've seriously missed playing the piano regularly and my skills have severely diminished, and I had all but given up hope of getting a piano anytime soon. Zak tried to convince me that a nice electric keyboard would be a better investment for now, but I wasn't thrilled about it. Since...
