It is amazing how beautiful the train and bus rides have been (although i dont think there is a single stretch of road that is straight for more than a quarter-mile). So that made the rides somewhat nauseating. So our last nite in Budapest we walked around the city to see all the sights lit up at night which was beautiful! Friday, June 27, 2008.

Saturday, May 31, 2008. Pictures of the Eiffel Tower, Mona Lisa, The Girls (me, Shawnnalea, and Jordan), and the Van Gogh painting! After I posted yesterday, the sun came out and we had the most beautiful day! Shawnna, Jordan, and I went to the eiffel tower, but didn't go up it because there were huge lines. Then we walked around and went to where Napoleon's tomb is located. We didn't end up going in, so then we headed to the Luxembourg gardens which were gorgeous and perfect for a gorgeous day! Friday, June 27, 2008. We are taking a break from the heat in Budapest! Budapest is pretty cool, much bigger than I expected! We are hoping to get some beach days as well as see the Plitvice Lakes, which are supposed to be gorgeous. We do not think we are going to be able to make it to Dubrovnik at the very south of Croatia, but hopefully we will get to see some other gorgeous areas. PS uploading pictures is quite a hassle so when I am back in the states I should be able to upload much more!

Nolan has erased or deleted all pictures from my card that had anything from graduation or dance recitals or end of school on it.hopefully my good memory will hold for years, and my patience.dear, lord.it's always something! The "Scorpians" had a very successful season- -winning all but one of their games. Both of the boys have really improved their skills a lot and are great little players! Thursday, May 20, 2010. The Princess turns SIX! Buffy turned 6 on Tuesday.the party started on Sunday with "our Wheeler Friends" for dinner and vollyball. Jessie and her family were here, too so it was lots of fun for all of us. Tuesday we had cupcakes at school and then a "pa-sketti dinner" after soccer, dance and baseball practice! It was a great birthday.I can't believe our baby is six.we love you Buffy and you will always be our baby girl no matter how old you are! It was a great time!

Rachel in South Korea

Monday, April 19, 2010. Then I went into Seoul for dinner at a Mexican restaurant with a few of my girl friends. Then we had a few drinks at an Irish pub! So we were quite multicultural. I had a very enjoyable day. Sunday I met up with a Korean family that I have befriended, and they took me out to an amazing Galbi dinner (Korean bbq)! I will post a few pics from the weekend.
