Wednesday, October 9, 2013. I cannot believe that another year has gone by and I recently celebrated 31 years spent on this earth. I, Rachel Christine, took my first breath of fresh air on September 30th (31 years ago) when I was born at the very reasonable time of about 5:30pm. Since Biblical evidence shows that gratitude precedes miracles (shout out to One Thousand Gifts. So here they are, in no particular order:. 1 These girls - so grateful to be their aunt. 7 the ability to dance. 9 glorious Texas sky.

Wednesday, July 2, 2014. Toes in the water. We played on the beach, hunted for seashells, floated in the waves, flew down a giant water slide (that was a wild ride, let me tell ya), swam in the pool, ate dinner together every night (seafood, of course), and capped off the trip with a dolphin cruise. And it was the perfect blend of fresh garlicky tastiness. I tweaked it a bit by adding queso fresco, cilantro, fresh squeezed lime and a bit more butter. The hubby added diced avocado as well. We're 99% sure we're going to call her Ruby Christine Davis. At the last scheduled ultrasound, which was at 29 weeks 1 day, she weighed 2 lbs 15 oz. She's right on track size wise. Not too big, not too small. Pretty cute, eh?
