Tuesday, 26 February 2013. Can you tell what it is yet? Take one tea towel, any design you like. This one suited my purpose nicely. Gather together a tape measure, scissors and a straight edge to draw a line. I used a box of Cheerios - a ruler is a more obvious choice as it would also alleviate the need for the tape measure. With measurements to hand, cut the tea towel to size. Then cut flaps into the strip of tea towel. Is it wrong that I felt bad cutting through the chickens? Tuesday, 12 February 2013.

Monday, 28 January 2013. It took an absolute age to paint, but it was worth it. I am super stoked with it. The coop was built by Andrew Fuller. He has a working farm in Gloucestershire, U.K and also builds the most amazing summerhouses/playhouses and now coops, in his 200 year old barn. Ma Wee Hens - Chicken Diary. Sunday, 23 June 2013. Our top hen Matilda has gone broody! I can't believe it! And we have no fertilised eggs for her either. She has dropped lots of feathers from under her tummy and is sitting in one of the nest boxes ON NOTHING! It is really a bit funny. So now we have only been getting 3 eggs at the most.
