It's faint but its a pulse. I have hooked up with a new rugby squad as well. I am going to start going to practices on Tuesday and Thursday nights. First I need to find some new cleats as I think I musted have pitched mine into the trash during the move. Well, that is it for now. This is the White Salamander, over and out,.

The White Salamander: December 2005
http://whitesalamander.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 30, 2005. Nothing Like A 2 Month Break. The cold damp conditions have caused a constant dull throbbing in my left knee making running an unappealing prospect. I need to break down and get a rain jacket so I can continue riding even in this constant rain. I need to get out and ride tomorrow. Even if it is just for a short ride, just to get the blood pumping in my legs again. Sorry for the uninspired post, right now I feel tired, slugish, and guilty for letting myself slip.

The White Salamander: July 2006
http://whitesalamander.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 28, 2006. Fajitas and 5k runs. The story goes like this:. I made it home from work at around 7:00. Mrs Salamander was making fabulous fajitas. At 7:45 fajita numero uno tasted fabulous so I decided to have another. At around 8:10 I looked and there was one tortilla left and a few bits of chicken and pepper left in the frying pan. Not enough for leftovers but certainly enough to put over the edge between comfortably full and ridiculously full. Soooooooo.I ate it. The fajitas took their toll.

Sunday, April 16, 2006. 30 Miles in The Freezing Rain. I guess if I am going to live in the Northwest an investment in some cold/wet riding gear is long overdue. I'll be riding in tomorrow to work so hopefully the rain will give me a bit of mercy. I am considering buying this shoe for my first venture into road shoes. Any thoughts from those of you who know? Wednesday, August 31, 2005. All I need is a Helmet. I wish I could explain what went wrong on that print job for Wil and Commodore but it is far to complicated an issue to explain in a blog entry for you two rubes so you will have to satisfy you sadistic urges elsewhere. At any rate I masterminded a solution that saved the day and turned what originally was going to be a catastrophic debacle into a minor mishap. Posted by White Salamander at 10:35 PM. The White Salamander: February 2005
http://whitesalamander.blogspot.com/2005_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 27, 2005. All I can say is I am shocked! It would seem Professor Reiner Protsch von Zieten. Has duped the entire anthropological community for years. The professor, it turns out, has been manufacturing evidence to support his theories and claims that humans and Neanderthals coexisted (Think Eaters of the Dead). My question is, what would lead a scientist to falsify data? Not just in one case but in many cases. Is it for the honor and attention he would receive from his peers? One has to ...

Tuesday, April 26, 2005. Quote of the Day. Today's quote comes from a rugby coach I once had who was lecturing at the start of a new season about commitment and what it would take to reach our team goals. In a heavy aussie accent he said, "Remember the enemy of perfection is to focus on the outcome at the expense of the process.". Posted by White Salamander at 9:27 PM. Monday, April 25, 2005. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. To Join Or Not Join. Once again, after yet another prolonged abscence:. Later I wondered if doing something like that might not be in the best interests of my triathlon goals anyway. I mean wouldn't that cause me to really over focus on just one event? In other news, I had my phone interview with the manager in Portland and everything seemingly went well. They are flying me up on Thursday for an in person interview, so wish me luck. Posted by White Salamander at 12:47 AM. An "anony...
