Last week, my family and I took a small vacation at a nearby resort which gave me plenty of distraction-free time to finish up my katakana studies. I was able to drill all characters into my memory and can proudly now read and write 2 of the 3 Japanese writing systems! 8230;Too bad the 3rd is the biggest and baddest of them all. Oh well! I finally finished my Hiragana studies, meaning I can now. Read Japanese. Spiffy! Which, needless to say, is annoying and confusing. All of this makes learning it a huge nuisance.
