Study Away in Norway: October 2008
http://makara-at-norway.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Study Away in Norway. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. So here are two more drawings. One is more of a doodle while the other is an actual sketch. Sketch of our lecturer for today (this one's not very good). Links to this post. First SNOW in October! This morning, as we (Emily, Genevieve and I) were walking to class, it started snowing before our eyes! And then about 10 minutes into class, there was enough snow to cover everything by 2 inches! And my white jacket just made me blend in with the snow =). So, I...

Study Away in Norway: November 2008
http://makara-at-norway.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Study Away in Norway. Saturday, November 29, 2008. It's snowing again today. It was really beautiful to look out the window to see nothing but pure white on the ground. Emily, Genevieve and I went for a short walk along the shopping street and beach. The atmosphere was so nice and calming, in contrast to what I've been feeling lately with the mixed feelings of going home and stress from exams and papers. It was a nice break. Links to this post. Study Away in Norway: September 2008
http://makara-at-norway.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Study Away in Norway. Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Appeals court and blacklight. Our class visited the local appeals court today, and I have to say, it was an interesting experience indeed. This was my first time visiting a court room at all, so everything was new to me. It wasn't much different than what I had imagined except that it was smaller. I noticed that the only image in the whole room was the logo of, what I assume, the municipality or government. 1) First Instance Courts. On another note, I di...

Study Away in Norway: Strange
http://makara-at-norway.blogspot.com/2008/11/strange.html
Study Away in Norway. Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Things aren't endig the way I thought they would. Funny how that is because it never is the way I think it would be or should be, but I always anticipate. Silly of me to do that, right? Hallvord Reiar Michaelsen Steen. Cant say much about the significance of your dreams but make sure you rest well and do not get stressed, and Im sure youll be fine :). Thursday, November 27, 2008 at 2:34:00 AM GMT 1. Study Away in Norway: Final exam
http://makara-at-norway.blogspot.com/2008/12/final-exam.html
Study Away in Norway. Monday, December 1, 2008. The final exam is OVER! It wasn't hard like I thought it would be. However, I think that I still was going in circles sometimes. But. I understodd the material. So I'm hoping that my writing skills conveyed that to the teacher. Anyway, the last real assignment is the oral presentation of our case study, which shouldn't be bad because the case studies are complete and turned in. Now we just have to present it. No problem. Hallvord R. M. Steen. I hope you lik...

Study Away in Norway: Woohoo! Grade A times 2!
http://makara-at-norway.blogspot.com/2008/12/woohoo-grade-times-2.html
Study Away in Norway. Thursday, December 4, 2008. Grade A times 2! I just finished my oral presentation for my case study and I am ecstatic about my results! I got an A on my case study report and and A on my presentation. They said the report was solid and the presentation was great. So I'm as happy as can be now, especially since I was told that it was really hard to get an A here in Norway. That means my work was good!
