Monday, November 24, 2008. Well, we just got the set piece for SYF next year. it's called "two overtures for wind band", and reading through the conductor's score, all i can say is. GOOD LUCK (we'll need it. don't forget lots of practise too.). Oh and jun hong, you still owe me 40 pushups and counting. (i didn't forget what happened you know.). PS should i continue designing cards for a 3T deck, or should i wait for next year to see what are the new positions? And who can give me tips on how to draw?

Going off to japan soon in about 2 weeks. meanwhile, having lots of band practises to get ready for concert in japan *gasp*. this inevitably leads to stress, and what a better way for me/you to destress than me giving you puzzles and you solving them? So, here goes. 1 Show n 3 - n is divisible by 3 for all natural n. (this one's a doozy. i can't type powers properly on blogger, forgive me.). Friday, July 25, 2008. The results are out! Headlines: Raffles bands take unprecedented sweep of all 3. silvers. Yes RIMB as well as RGSSB got silver for the SIBF, and amazingly, both bands got 82% /100%! Quote from RGSSB BM," I want a rematch! Anyway, all the hard work that we have put in practising our pieces have really paid off, and going by the results now, i'm even more confident that we will be able to get our gold /with honours next year. at least i hope we do.
