From the North Country. Thursday, November 15, 2007. Is that a kind of hat? Sorry, couldn't resist. I have been putting some of my panoramas together in the past month or so. (I have more! These are some of my favorites. This requires either a very good sense of balance, or a good tripod. Maybe I should try a tripod. The beautiful, the sublime,the grand,. The one and only Metalak Island! Pardon my poetic lapse there. Make sure you zoom in on the right hand side, on the beach. Curtis Cove a bit later.

From the North Country. Saturday, April 19, 2008. Jonathan's cactus flowered a week or so ago. The blossoms are only 1/4" across. It's been a while since that has happened, hasn't it? Wittenberg was relatively free from direct papal subjugation, but Luther’s message was meant for Rome. Europe responded to his nearly suicidal courage by widely disseminating his scathing critique of political and religious authority, changing the old world forever. Saturday, January 05, 2008. Petra and Paul had a Merry Christmas. They skied, skated, ski skated, insulated, and painted. But most of all, Paul was cooled by Petra, and Petra was warmed by Paul. The View from Great Island. I would say Paul was blessed by Petra's presence regardless of the thermodynamic transfers and we were blessed by having them both at home for Christmas a warm and wonderful time they brought though the temp outside did reach the minus numbers fahrenheit. At least we had lots of snow.
