Twelve Degrees

We are a group of artists working within the same studio with a desire to exhibit together away from the confines of a college. We offer a varied cross section of fine art in several media, which includes print, painting, sculpture, video and drawing. During the discussion about the exhibition it was recognised that some members of the group are interested in art therapy and are keen to pursue this field further and so we were keen in working alongside a charitable organisation with this directive.

Friday, 20 September 2013. I had a very exciting Saturday last week working with Encounter. It began with a painting, drawing, moving and dancing workshop with a dozen or so 3-8 year olds and parents at Watford Palace Theatre. Followed by a WILD evening of art, dance and music at the Rag Factory. Where I also had an exhibition of my drawings. Thank you to everyone who took part and who came, more photos to come! Screenwriter (currently), director (occasionally), playwright (always). Now Is The Hour. Horses in the Rain. North of the Sunset. The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady. I am seeking a film producer to help me realise my first film. It will be a feature-length low-budget drama filmed and set in France. Cross Road Blues, which I directed at the Hackney Empire. You can be based anywhere, but London or southern France would be convenient. Speaking French would be a huge plus, but it’s by no means a deal-...

Good things come to those who wait: time-consuming crafts at Apricot Gallery in East London. Exhibition preview: Historical Futures, Apricot Gallery, The Rag Factory, London, May 2 May 9 2015. Historical Futures. Installation view. It is just four years since a 24-hour long film picked up a Gold Lion at Venice. The Clock, by Christian Marclay, became last word in durational art. Both the time it cost to produce and the time it asked of the viewer both gave the critics something to write home about. From ...

THE FEW AND FAR BETWEEN: Good things at the Rag Factory next weekend. After spending all morning intensely hungover in bed, attempting to e-mail every single semi-creative graduate job in Northampton (so, like, two.maybe) and eating sunflower seeds and cranberries and other such shit that came in my free Graze box. Appreciate it while it lasts guyz! Oh, and there'll be booze. Lots and lotsa booze. Posted by Rebecca Higgins. THIS SHIT SUCKS: Must be the Midlands. At the Rag Factory. All masterly hotlinked...
