Now that I've finished my very first crochet project and thoroughly fallen in love with crocheting, I'm anxious to move on and learn something new. The bag was so much fun to make, I know I will make another one soon! And one of the things I love about this bag is that I can now use it to carry my future projects! And behold. . .a new project is started. . . Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The projects continue. . .

A Penny for Your Thoughts. Monday, June 11, 2012. BABIES. . . . It's almost time for grandbaby #1, Kellen, to make his arrival. Mommy and Daddy (and Grandma) are getting quite excited, and a little anxious, about it all . . . . Daddy painted the room and the crib and dresser are all put together. Mommy's been "nesting" so all. Clothing is washed and ready and the room is completely organized. Now, just waiting for Kellen to arrive! I wonder if he'll look like his Daddy. . . . Joel + Eloise = Joeloise: June 2009
http://joeloiseghrist.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Joel Eloise = Joeloise. From our lives to yours. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. Here's a taste of what's to come of my first quilt! I LOVE this fabric, especially the fact that it came already cut into strips (in a "jelly roll") and squares ("charm packs"). The fabric pack is called "Recipe for Friendship" and I'm so excited about it! As of now, I plan on setting it up on our guest bed. I'm so thankful that I found this fabric already paired up and pre-cut. Mixin' Up Van Gogh. Adding Some Spice to Cooking.

poppies & peacocks: Floral sensation!
http://poppiespeacocks.blogspot.com/2010/10/floral-sensation.html
Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Popped up to visit my sister today and give the kiddies a little play together. I did have an ulterior motive however. I am a huge fan of the material flowers my sister makes and I was in need of an accessory for the new 'slouch bag' I made yesterday, and she knew exactly the right thing! Couldn't resist the beautiful delicate pick chiffon rose too! Might be a good one for Melbourne Cup day - nah! Will have to order something bigger for sure. The pink chiffon rose. Simple the...

poppies & peacocks: Weekend projects
http://poppiespeacocks.blogspot.com/2010/10/weekend-projects.html
Thursday, October 28, 2010. I have been guilty of ignoring my sewing machine too much this week, but for very good reasons! I ran out of interfacing and the book I was reading was stopping me from going to buy some more! Good news is my book is finished (good news for my partner, son and sewing machine that is) and I am all lined up with two projects for the weekend. 1 Pixie handbag converted in to a clutch with perhaps an optional chain strap. Using Keyka Lou design. 2 Erin Erickson's iPhone pouch.
