This is looking from control position 3 on the branch line toward the classification yard. The branch line are the front tracks. The main line are the track on the left. This train is just coming off the large hand built trestle that forms most of the turn around to send main line North bound trains Southbound. Sign my Guest Book.

The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. The Trains of Strasburg. Page 1 of 7. This is a shot of #90, #1223, and #6755 from sometime in the late sixties, as are the following three pictures. This was before the railroad museum was built and they were storing the locomotives at the Strasburg Railroad. Both #90 and #1223 were operational at the time. 90 - GWR, 2-10-0, Class BLW l. They don't know the words, so they just hum right along. A pair of E-44's pulling a freight Northbound past Cly Tower. Notice the pull rods at the left of the picture. These were connected to levers inside the tower to throw switches and change signaling. Again at Cly. A pair of GG-1's pulling freight. Not all of the GG-1's pulled passenger trains.
