January 22, 2014 / Gustav. The Mill Hollow Trestle on the New England and Erie Railroad. The Mill Hollow Trestle is the centerpiece of the New England Division of the NE&E. The trestle spans a gap in the post and beam framework of our house above the kitchen counter and it immediately draws attention to the ceiling layout when one enters the house. The trestle took two years to plan and build. I put the finishing touches to it in the Fall of 2013. A beaver dam (sans beaver). A bear fishing for trout.
