In the light of the sun. Moments of me and my life by the sea. Sunset at the farm. We skipped town for a week of peace and quiet. No washing machines whirring, no dishwashers draining, no tv blaring, no neighbours banging on the ceiling, no cars beeping, no mobiles ringing, no bright lights, no laptop, no facebook, no distractions. Party and craft inspiration. Behind the scenes at Red Carousel. It’s been a busy few weeks with cakes and parties (amongst other things). Here are a few projects I have been working on. Hudson’s mummy put her little boy’s party together and booked Red Carousel for the cake, cookies and chicken sausage rolls. Tableware and decorations came from our shop. And items hired from us for the food table. Pics below. It was a gorgeous party at the Garden House PreSchool. Which is just amazing in itself!

Party and craft inspiration. Behind the scenes at Red Carousel. Upcycle Tin Cans: Quick tutorial. My daughter Ivy is turning 7 soon and we have started to make some of the decorations for the party. These are some old tin cans we have decorated with decoupage, to match the party theme colours of pink and aqua. The cans can be used to hold things like straws, cutlery and flowers. Empty tin cans (make sure there aren’t any protruding sharp edges that could cause injury). 1 Get your materials together.
