Small Sewing: July 2013
http://smallsewing.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
All about making dolls clothes and dolls house miniatures, bought and made. Friday, 26 July 2013. The whole sunsuit is machine sewn and is very quick to make. I can do a picture tutorial of how I made it if you would like me to. The next one will be for my little Gotz but it will be exactly the same size as this one. Wednesday, 24 July 2013. Summer Top and Pants. The top is made out of a child's sock. It is a bit raw around the cut edges but I'm ok with this, there's only me 'playing' with my dolls.

Small Sewing: September 2012
http://smallsewing.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
All about making dolls clothes and dolls house miniatures, bought and made. Monday, 10 September 2012. Best Friends Club and Design a Friend Dolls. When I saw the Design a Friend doll in the Argos catalogue I thought that this would be another nice 18" doll to make clothes for. I was hoping she would have the shoulder plate but she has a soft body like the AG and Gotz dolls. I do think that all the dolls I have bought have too much hair, and these two in particular have tons of it. Les Chéries de Vaniline.

http://smallsewing.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
All about making dolls clothes and dolls house miniatures, bought and made. Friday, 31 August 2012. Finished these shoes for Bridgette today. Monday, 27 August 2012. Marie Gets New Sandals. Marie is a really nice doll for holding things due to the joints in her elbows. She also has joints in her knees and I see that the latest version of the Kidz n Katz dolls also have wrist and ankle joints. In this picture Marie is holding the baby rabbit I knitted a while ago from a pattern by this. 1000 and 1 choses.

Small Sewing: Dusty Dolls Houses
http://smallsewing.blogspot.com/2015/07/dusty-dolls-houses.html
All about making dolls clothes and dolls house miniatures, bought and made. Saturday, 18 July 2015. Here's what I came up with. The first house I covered was this Sylvanian People house, I can't remember what it is called. Using five fat quarters I made the dust cover in a simple shape, to have made one to fit perfectly would have been to difficult for me. 3 August 2015 at 15:34. I agree that is lovely fabric to have on show and what a great idea! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 1000 and 1 choses.

Small Sewing: January 2013
http://smallsewing.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
All about making dolls clothes and dolls house miniatures, bought and made. Friday, 25 January 2013. A friend gave me a pack of miniatures that included a mirror, two pictures, clock, umbrella, telephone and coat stand. I had a look through my stash and found a box with a lid that would look right with these items. This was the result minus the pictures, they wouldn't fit into the container. Small Sewing: August 2013
http://smallsewing.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
All about making dolls clothes and dolls house miniatures, bought and made. Thursday, 22 August 2013. Francine waited patiently for me to get round to making her something for the summer. She decided that she looks so much like the BFC doll that an outfit similar would suit her best. I also made her a hairband, her hair is very thin on top and a hairband hides it, she was pleased that I thought to do this for her. Here she is with the BFC doll who still hasn't got a name. Monday, 19 August 2013. Here's C...

Small Sewing: October 2013
http://smallsewing.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
All about making dolls clothes and dolls house miniatures, bought and made. Tuesday, 8 October 2013. A Hat for Bonnie. This beret took a few minutes to make. I love the Froggy Stuff videos. And this hat is perfect for Bonnie to wear with her new coat. I used a six inch diameter plate but think a slightly bigger size would be better. Monday, 7 October 2013. Bonnie the BFC doll now has a winter coat. I used the 8519 pattern from here. I was looking at this blog http:/ madeintina.canalblog.com/.

Small Sewing: October 2012
http://smallsewing.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
All about making dolls clothes and dolls house miniatures, bought and made. Tuesday, 30 October 2012. I haven't finished the papier mache book project yet, just the finishing touches to add to it. While I think about that I looked in an old Dolls House World magazine, September 2002, and saw a wonderful little scene project that I just had to try immediately! It has a 'bamboo' cabinet and plant stand with the instructions on how to make them. Here's my version of the cabinet. Saturday, 13 October 2012.
