Flootin' About: December 2009
http://flootin.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, 19 December 2009. Why do I have a character who won't tell me why he's in the book? I mean, don't get me wrong - I love him, he is a great fun character to write, he has made my story SO much more interesting than it would have been, and I'm grateful that he jumped out of the backstory and forced himself into the role of a main character. He has lots of reasons, in terms of the story as a whole, for being there. After 77K you'd think I'd have a clue. Links to this post. I'm thrilled that two of...

Flootin' About: What M.E. feels like.
http://flootin.blogspot.com/2010/02/what-me-feels-like.html
Sunday, 21 February 2010. What M.E. feels like. I don't usually write about my health on here - after all, that's part of what this blog. Is for, ever since an unusually sensible attempt to divide and conquer on my part. But this was too good an expanation of how I feel today to miss. 28 February 2010 at 21:31. Its kinda late, but *hugs*. Lots of them! 4 March 2010 at 16:22. Ah Floot, that sounds horrendous. Do you still have ME? Do you ever get rid of it? How do you cope? 3 am Epiphany Project.

Wednesday, 10 March 2010. Please tell me you're joking. I just read a post of someone daring to suggest that being a smoker these days would be enough to give one a good insight into being a black person in the 50s. Seriously, Mr Smoker? You're going to go there? You're going to compare a choice to pump yourself full of noisome and noxious chemicals with being born. With the 'wrong' colour skin? Monday, 25 January 2010. You may, if you're a writer type, have come across this blog: http:/ 3amepiphanyproject.blogspot.com/. Me being, well, me, I didn't find out about it till I was already behind and then I have been bad at finding time to actually take the dratted challenges. BUT I will nonetheless post those I DO complete here! Write a first person story in which you use the first person pronoun (I, me or my) only two. Times Keep the 'I' some. Wordcount: 600 ( /- 10%). But here's my first effort.

Thursday, 26 May 2011. Rag Doll 29.4.11. A post and also, in a way, an explanation of why I have not been posting. I am a rag doll,. Lying limp and lazy. To be lazy is to have a choice. I have not chosen,. I have been chosen,. The lottery has fallen. It could be you. Could I be unchosen, please? These legs, this body, this pain -. I'd like to take it back -. It's not fit for sale -. May I make an exchange? Surely my customer rights apply -. If it's not fit for the purpose. But life is not fair. Why, I sob.
