We finally got a brief break in the weather, so my pony and I headed out to a nearby ranch and neighboring vineyard for a ride. Oh, and the dogs too, of course. :). Meet Diesel, the Dairy Queen Christmas Cat:. It was late December and I was in Dallas to pick up supplies at the Old Mill Feed Store. For our church's live nativity, and as I was driving through town I had a strong feeling to go through the drive through at the Dairy Queen. The feeling did not come from my stomach.

Our wonderful stake Relief Society president (local LDS women's group president) Debbi Morrison felt inspired this spring to organize a stake "Tri Your Best" sprint triathlon: 500 yard swim, 12 mile bike ride, and 5K walk/run. When I heard about it, I thought it sounded like a great idea for other folks, but that there was no way in hoo-ha that I was going to do it. Thanks Jen and Kathy).
