Arnold's Westcoast: November 2004
http://smalleyez.blogspot.com/2004_11_01_archive.html
LIFE IN PUBLIC SPACES AND OTHER HAPPENINGS. Saturday, November 27, 2004. I grew up with western thought and its way of life. I could only get that understanding from my non-Asian friends throughout my elementary and secondary school years. However, I did meet some of my closest friends in university who are Asian and do understand that way of life. That's been a total blessing. Posted by Arnold at 3:17 AM. Thursday, November 18, 2004. How much can the brain handle and what is its attention span? It's too...

LIFE IN PUBLIC SPACES AND OTHER HAPPENINGS. Friday, May 27, 2005. My method is to keep it silent and go into my dream like state thinking about life until the hair dresser asks me if I want gel in my hair. I usually take a shower after I get my haircut because no matter how you blow dry your hair or wipe it with a towel, the hair bits never completely go away. It's like getting sand out of your clothes after a day at the beach. Sand is just everywhere. Posted by Arnold at 7:49 PM. Tuesday, May 24, 2005.

Arnold's Westcoast: January 2005
http://smalleyez.blogspot.com/2005_01_01_archive.html
LIFE IN PUBLIC SPACES AND OTHER HAPPENINGS. Sunday, January 30, 2005. Would you be caught dead in this? Actually, it's not that bad. I currently drive this 2000 Saturn SL1 (shown exactly how it looks in the picture). It hasn't given me any problems and it's comfortable. The 1.9 L engine is weak at a meager 100 horsepower. Climbing hills are a chore and having more power does make a difference. I will have to upgrade the Saturn to the one below. Posted by Arnold at 12:28 AM. I just need a better job.

Arnold's Westcoast: Running From The Cops
http://smalleyez.blogspot.com/2009/10/running-from-cops.html
LIFE IN PUBLIC SPACES AND OTHER HAPPENINGS. Friday, October 16, 2009. Running From The Cops. A frantic young Hispanic male runs into the mail room asking me where the entrance is. He then dashes towards the freight elevator and jumps in. A minute later, a cop shows up asking me for a description of the male and where he went. I find out later that the suspect had ditched a car by the loading dock as he was being chased by the cops. A bit of excitement for Friday. Posted by Arnold at 3:00 PM.

Arnold's Westcoast: Ticket to Ride
http://smalleyez.blogspot.com/2009/09/ticket-to-ride.html
LIFE IN PUBLIC SPACES AND OTHER HAPPENINGS. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. I bought Ticket to Ride: Nordic Countries. Apparently, it's the hardest map, has some new rules, and very competitive among 2-3 players. I really enjoy playing Ticket to Ride: Europe and because a number of my friends have this game, I'm stoked to try out this new edition. The graphics are sweet with a Christmas theme. Posted by Arnold at 3:07 PM. We have the Switzerland version which is really good too! 9:54 AM, October 11, 2009.

LIFE IN PUBLIC SPACES AND OTHER HAPPENINGS. Friday, February 25, 2005. They have snow making machines. I was like sweet! Then, I said, "Younger? She said, "Younger." And I'm thinking what? Do I look 14 years old to you? Man, I must have some eternal youth in me or something. She didn't ask me for my ID, but was very skeptical of me. It was just plain weird! I just took it as a compliment sort of. Posted by Arnold at 12:45 AM. View of Greater Vancouver to the East from Grouse Mountain. View of the Lions?
