Revenant Wraith is a platformer/RPG hybrid I'm currently developing. YoYo Games has removed several functions from the GameMaker (for example a number of audio functions). This is one of several reasons why I grew frustrated with GameMaker. It also lacks a number of functionalities and I do no longer trust its performance (apparently I need to purchase an expensive add-on to optimize the engine). Thus I will stop using GameMaker for this game and use Unity 3D instead. BACK TO RAINY DAYS.

Eine Kombination aus Platformer und RPG. Man spielt Vaykin, einen einsamen Wraithkin auf einer Quest der Selbstfindung. Waise der Sterne (in Entwicklung, deutsch). Ein RPG, das mit dem RPG Maker VX Ace erstellt wird. Nara erkennt, dass sie nicht das ist, was sie scheint, und dass böse Kräfte hinter ihr her sind.

Finished a small executable to test weather effects using particle. You can download the installer under Downloads. The executable contains four types of weather effects - rain, thunderstorm (heavy rain with lighning), snow and sandstorm. Each effect is done with GMS' built-in particle system and graphics. That's why the raindrops are a bit too thick, I was lazy so I didn't create graphics of my own. Minigame for decyphering memory cores is now working. Next I'll start to lay out the first actual level.

Es war ursprünglich nur ein kleines Projekt, das dazu diente, die Engine auszuprobieren. Inzwischen hat es sich jedoch weiter entwickelt und wird zu einem vollständigen Spiel ausgebaut. Die Entwicklung des Spiels begann am 07.03.2014. Das Spiel befindet sich seit dem 24.01.2017 im Beta-Stadium. Aktuelle Statistiken (Stand 24.01.2017). Größe (ohne RTP): 246MB.
