A place to celebrate success, vent fustrations and share the joys of raising kids on the farm! Sunday, May 22, 2011. Just a little grump! Today was an absolutely beautiful day with glorious warm sunshine! Noah had a HUGE morning nap and then after some baking time, we headed of to find a new park to play in! We found one and it was AMAZING! Both boys loved it, and there was lots of fun had by all! Noah, the rough tough little mite, had a little too much fun and ended up biting though his bottom lip!

Adventures With Ruby
Saturday, April 2, 2011. I love you Mom. First, apologies for not taking a single new picture of Ruby for the last two weeks. It's not that she hasn't done anything worthy of capturing, I just.haven't. I took this one just now. Ruby in her usual spot, right at my feet. It's like having an extra pair of 99-pound shoes I'm forever tripping over. So week one ideas were helpful. Week two, there was another dog there, a Maltie/Yorkie mix named Izzy. Izzy is the XS in our now XS/S/M/L class. Stepha...On the ho...
Keeping You in Stitches
Friday, August 10, 2012. Money Management.for an {almost} 4 year old. So since it has been so long since I've posted, I figured I'd give everyone a {little} update on our life before I jumped into a new post! One of the points that was made was that the old curriculum said that you should spend 80% of your income, save 10%, and share 10%. Well this confused a lot of kids. They asked why they have to spend all 80% of their "spend" fund. This is just a guideline! Me on the other hand, will split any extra ...
Raising Rundle
The Training Diary of A Bernese Mountain Dog Puppy. Thursday, March 12, 2015. My friend Jo took some video of Rundle with the sheep. This clip as near the end of our test and you can see Rundle start to get a bit distracted - maybe from the pressure of "rules" (you can see that with the use of the flag) or not knowing what was expected of him, or maybe he was just getting tired. It's hard work trying out new things. Friday, January 30, 2015. Http:/ kineticdog.com/Files/2%20x%202%20PDF.pdf. RThis blog is ...

Raising Ruth | Real Food. Life Lessons. Love Centered.
Real Food. Life Lessons. Love Centered. October 13, 2016. I’ve said many times that I am not scared of having this baby, I am scared of not having her. But two days later I had an ultrasound and began to miscarry that day. I realized my body and perhaps my subconscious knew before I did, that this pregnancy had ended way too soon. This dream has been on my mind a lot lately. January 26, 2016. They started again, this time transvaginal. What seemed like a few minutes passed, when the “trainer...I sobbe...
Raising the Ruxs
Story's, adventures, and lessons chronicling us. Sunday, January 23, 2011. When Reality Starts in…. This last week I gave my first public address on KT Syndrome, it was to the local first responders/ambulance crew. It was surreal. I am around Adam everyday, I often tell people about him and his syndrome, but I never realized that I truly do gloss over the dangers of what he has. That scares me. Saturday, November 27, 2010. Let the Season Begin…. Ever since last year, I have been trying to figure out the ...
Raising Ryans
Here's a little of what's happening in the Ryan's world. Thanks for stopping by! Tuesday, November 26, 2013. So, it's been awhile. I admit, the craziness of all day school, with half day school, with no school, with extra curriculars and what not.I have taken awhile to adjust. Not just to the schedule, but the shift in parenting of this new season. The kids are older and well, we are working on more heart issues than behavior issues. It feels far more time consuming. It seemed like a good idea. It wa...
