a mom's view: November 2014
http://amomspointofview.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 26, 2014. We have had an exciting Thanksgiving break so far. Saturday we had errands that needed to be taken care of and then had friends over that evening for dinner. We decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and buy a new one. We knew mostly what we wanted because we did a lot of research on them last year. So that night we placed our order. Since the kids were disappointed with our zebra tree we decided to let them go ahead and get their trees put up in their rooms. After Target w...

Friday, May 15, 2015. Some of my favorite things he says:. Muah Hugs: Kisses and hugs; If he doesn't give kisses and hugs to one of us before bed time, he will cry while saying "muah hugs Daddy". HoleJew": Hold you; this has to be my favorite! He says this when he wants to be picked up. I remember when Reese was little and we had a friend whose daughter would say this and I thought it was the cutest thing. The first time Hayes said that I died from the sweetness. There is no doubt that God put curls on h...

Monday, June 16, 2014. Two Wheels and an Open Road. Last summer we bought Reese a new bike for her birthday. She would never ride her old bike and we thought a new one would do the trick. Well it didn’t. She still said she didn’t like riding her bike. We tried and we tried but nothing worked. For what ever reason, yesterday Reese and Lance decided to take the training wheels off her bike so she could learn to ride it. Check out this big smile…. Wednesday, June 11, 2014. On Memorial Day we met some friend...

a mom's view: About Sam
http://amomspointofview.blogspot.com/2015/08/about-sam.html
Wednesday, August 5, 2015. Sam's teacher gave the parents homework the first week of school. She asked us to tell her "about your child in a million words or less". I wanted to remember what I told her so I am going to put it here for memory sake. He is an early riser…like 6:00 AM. It used to be earlier but we had to make a 6:00 AM rule for him. Once he is up…he is up and ready to face the day…or play on an old iPhone. He is a true middle child. He is a homebody. He is a loving friend. We have two kitten...

a mom's view: September 2014
http://amomspointofview.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Friday, September 26, 2014. Our final day was spent in Hollywood Studios. We were up with the sun that morning to get to breakfast at Hollywood and Vine. Hollywood and Vine has all of the Disney Junior characters like Sofia, Doc McStuffins, Jake, and Handy Manny. Again, Reese was excited to see them all but the boys were not so much. As soon as breakfast was over we headed to the Star Tours ride. Lance took the big kids on while I waited for Claire, Bryan, and Hadley to meet up with us again. Then we wen...

Thursday, January 29, 2015. Today Sam’s school had Donuts with Dad. Sam is always so excited for days like this. He, once again. Matched Daddy in clothes that he was wearing. It is so cute! This year Sam was much more willing to talk to Lance while he was there and even showed him around his classroom. They made their daddies ties and answered questions about their dads. Sam said Lance is 1000 feet tall and weighs four pounds. Saturday, January 24, 2015. These three I loved of each of the kids. On Tuesda...

Friday, October 17, 2014. Life with Sam has still been fun lately. He is still just as sweet as ever. However, he has started to test the boundaries on things he can say. A friend described it perfectly the other day as “lippy”. 8221;…thank goodness. I told them no kissing for a long time! After the ceremony was the reception where Reese was teaching them how to slow dance. Oh my! Luckily Joci’s parents got here quickly. I can’t believe Sam is going to be five in less than a month! This is the quietest a...

a mom's view: Ten Years
http://amomspointofview.blogspot.com/2015/02/ten-years.html
Thursday, February 19, 2015. Today, Lance and I have been married for TEN years. Time really flies! One year in…Lance wanted to know what it would look like to shave his entire head with a straight razor so he did it right before we left for a cruise. Needless to say, that hair-do has never come back. Two years in…pregnant with Reese. Quite honestly, there are no more pictures of us alone for a long time after this last picture. Ha! And here we are ten years later! And just for a little comparison….

Thursday, March 19, 2015. Hayes started taking gymnastics. It has taken him several weeks to get comfortable with going out on the floor with out me. Each week I have to walk him out there and he will just stand on the edge of where his teacher is and watch. I am hoping soon he will just run right out to her. Hayes LOVES dogs. Every time we are at Claire’s house he wants to hold them. Baseball has started back! Sam is really enjoying it and doing really well! Reese and I got to serve at a Women’s S...

a mom's view: Counting Down
http://amomspointofview.blogspot.com/2015/04/counting-down.html
Thursday, April 16, 2015. Our summer countdown has officially started. Having last week off for spring break really got us in the mood for summer. Easter Morning the kids woke up to some rain boots and a book in their Easter Baskets. The Easter bunny decided to leave all the candy at Gigi’s house this year. We quickly got ready and headed to church again because Lance and I were serving that morning. This is the best we could do…. Granddaddy and Papa with these crazy kids. And boy did they all have fun!
