Resting in the Savior: Fall Risk
http://restinginthesavior.blogspot.com/2012/01/fall-risk.html
Resting in the Savior. Psalm 37:7 Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him. Sunday, January 22, 2012. When I was admitted into the hospital last Sunday morning, I was given a bracelet which read:. How many of us are walking around, trying to do everything on our own when in reality, we are a "fall risk"? We need a Savior to catch us when. We fall, not if. I pray today that each of us sees our constant need for the One who Saves. Psalm 55:16 I shall call upon God, And the LORD will save me.

Resting in the Savior: My skills fall short
http://restinginthesavior.blogspot.com/2012/01/my-skills-fall-short.html
Resting in the Savior. Psalm 37:7 Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. My skills fall short. My Savior My God. I am not skilled to understand. What God has willed, what God has planned. I only know at His right hand. Stands one who is my Savior. I take Him at His word and deed. Christ died to save me; this I read. And in my heart I find a need. Of Him to be my savior. That He would leave His place on high. And come for sinful man to die. Before I knew my Savior.

Resting in the Savior: February 2011

Resting in the Savior. Psalm 37:7 Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him. Thursday, February 10, 2011. Is freedom a blessing ALL the time for you or can it make things difficult because of your flesh? Saturday, February 5, 2011. Today I have been mulling over our great God. He truly is amazing. Every night I pray for my kids that they will know how great it is to have Him as our God. I mean, think about it. He made the world and everything in it. AMAZING! He has no beginning or end!

Monday, September 17, 2012. Cooking for a Month- Take 1. I've attempted this a few times in the past without much success. THIS time, I'm committed to making it work. Two other friends also have this same commitment (I hope)! Step #1 Plan Meals. This was harder than I thought because of food allergies and pickiness. You kinda get used to your own family and then adding the other families issues means a lot of stuff that gets cut out. So I feel pretty good that I did it at all! You could do this, right?

Tuesday, October 16, 2012. Once a month cooking- month 2. Shop the sales. We did that this time and saved a boat load on meat. Have the butcher prep the meat for us. GENIUS! This saved us so much time. We had him cut the sirloin "fajita style" for the stroganoff and it was perfect. We also had him run some of the chicken through the meat tenderizer to flatten it (no pounding)! Freeze flat so the meals are not in the shape of balls. Freeze with cardboard between so there is no sticking. 3 Beef Pita Taco's.

Friday, October 29, 2010. P31P-day 21, you are beauty. We cannot escape it. Everywhere we look, our world defines "beauty." It's this invisible yet well-stipulated box. And to walk with our shoulders high, we as women believe we must fit comfortably within its walls. The box tempts us to look and linger and compare and climb in. Until we find that we have bound the chains to our wrists and are now a slave to its precepts. Outward beauty fades with each tick of the clock. But this beauty- the beauty o...

Sunday, December 26, 2010. Kevin and Amy Sasser. Saturday, December 25, 2010. Or as we like to say in our house, "Happy Birthday Jesus." All day there were reminders of Jesus and his birth. When Anna woke this morning she shared with me that she had slept for a long time and rattled off a few details for the morning and getting ready. Her last words were."then we can get ready for Jesus' birthday cake, deal? Here is our Christmas card photo for this year. Kevin and Amy Sasser. Friday, December 24, 2010.
