A bit about us, maybe a dash more! Monday, January 11, 2010. For all of you who keep track, I have not blogged in a long time. Shie is the one who has been good at keeping everyone around the world up to date with the goings on here with the American Sjostrom family. My thoughts have not been completely blog idle. I have been taking pictures of things I have deemed blog worthy. So, here are some random pictures taken from the last 3 months. It took me exactly two hours to shovel my way out of the snow!

The dentist couldn't have had a more appropriate name! 3 guesses - 1. has really short arms, 2. wanted to give the car a Mohawk, 3. is laziness personified. On a different note: Es loves purses (purrsh, as she calls them) and sometimes insists on taking my old, empty purses when we go out! Thursday, February 11, 2010. All about the little one. Friday, January 11, 2013. Our first Christmas in our new home was really nice. I so enjoy celebrating this time of year with the girls. Everything to do with Christmas is so beautiful and special and their excitement is contagious. To see their joy reminded me so often of what Christmas is really about. Friday, March 28, 2014. I realize it has been awhile… again. I probably start all my posts this way lately. Oh well. There are some fun photos in this post. The girls are growing up so fast! I recently went through all their clothes and now have yet another Ikea bag full to sort into the "too small" box. They are fun and funny little ladies. Here's what we've been up to. Funny faces through Jamie's glass. This was so hilarious! Lina lost her first tooth! Here she is proudly showing it off.

Monday, August 27, 2012. Last Wednesday we celebrated Jan's 30th birthday. After Jan got home from work we grilled and enjoyed Tiramisu together. The girls were so excited for the party to begin (and they had to wait almost the whole day), so we had to drag out the party prep process. It was a fun day! Saturday, December 28, 2013. Christmastime is full of fun things for young and old. I so much enjoy introducing the girls to the festivities that surround this time of year. They are so excited about every detail! Cleaning our shoes for Niklaus was also a fun thing to do. I prepared the cleaning zone with one pair of shoes for each girl but they just kept finding more shoes to clean! Christmas Day was full of fun too! Merry (late) Christmas and a Happy 2014!
